Club Christmas Dinner. The club will be hosting a traditional christmas dinner with all the trimmings at the Royal Norfolk & Suffolk Yacht Club on Saturday 8th December 2007 at a cost of £17.50 per head. Main Course:  Roast Turkey with all the trimmings, seasonal vegatables, roast & creamed pots. Vegaterian option available. Sweet:  Christmas Pudding, Brandy Sauce or Cream. Lemon Meringue Pie served with Ice Cream or Cream. Cheese & Biscuits Coffee & Mints. Nets Pre-season net sessions have be arranged to take place at the Waveney Sports Centre, Water Lane, Lowestoft.  Commencing on Sunday 2nd December 2007 2.30pm till 4.30pm.  The following week the 9th December will also be at the same time. However on the 16th December they will be at 11.30am till 1.30pm followed by a break for Xmas.  They will recommence on Sunday 6th January 2008 thru until Sunday the 30th March 2008 at 2.30pm until 4.30pm.  Please lets see as many of you as possible attend these sessions. EGM Do to the resignation of our newly appointed 1st XI captain Richard Turrell it has become necessary to hold an EGM to apoint a new capatin.  The meeting will take place at the Lowestoft Railway Bowls & Social Club, Carlton Road, Lowestoft on Wednesday 23rd January 2008 at 7.30pm. There has been three nominations for captain recieved to date. Craig Guy, Michael Green & Ben Willgoss.  If you should have someone in mind that you would like to see captain the 1st XI., Then in the first instant you should make approaches to them and ask if they are willing to be nominated.  Secondly send the nomination to me 14 days prior to the meeting.
